The Slovenian government and the Chinese company Hisense signed an agreement in which the state will provide a million euros towards a TV production plant in Velenje.
The plant currently employs around 700 people in three shifts and on four automated production lines. The Chinese invested EUR 7 million into the facility.
The plan is to double the annual output of the facility and nearly double the number of employees.
