Strong storms and hail caused damage around the country yesterday. In Ljubljana, 45 mm of rain fell within two hours last night. Basements and underpasses in the capital were also flooded. Firefighters were called out more than 60 times.
Meanwhile, hail fell in the Vipava Valley and in parts of the west.
This comes despite drought-like conditions in Slovenia and Europe.
At the coast, water restrictions are in place, meaning residents cannot wash their cars or fill pools. Local fountains have also been shut off.
