Heavy traffic and delays are expected to reach their peak this weekend and will likely last up till the holiday on Tuesday. The most delays are occurring on roads leading towards Croatia and the coast and also on the A2 highway from Austria towards Slovenia. Delays are being reported from early Saturday morning at almost all major border crossing with Croatia, especially Sečovlje-Plovanija, Gruškovje-Macelj and Dragonja-Kaštel, where the waiting times reached up to 2h.
