Hungarian fuel retailer MOL is now the second biggest fuel retailer in Slovenia. After successfully completing the takeover of the Austrian branch of OMV in Slovenia, the head of MOL Slovenia Valerija Glavač said the company now has a total of 170 service stations in Slovenia. MOL acquired OMV Slovenia for just over 300 million euros in a deal together with Croatia's INA. 27 of the new service stations will be owned by INA, while in the second half of the year 39 of MOL's service stations will be sold to Shell. The biggest fuel retailer in the country is still Slovenia's Petrol with 318 service stations.
