Inflation was up in Slovenia in 2019, thanks to higher food prices.
Food prices rose by about 3.5% this year. Services were up by 2.6% and goods rose by 1.3%.
The Statistics Office said that there were no major drops in prices, although car prices did fall by 2.3%. however, this did nothing to stop the general rise in inflation.
