The costs for the emergency interventions in the second wave of storms is not yet known. Medved added more than 190 municipalities will require financial assistance for recovery.

In Vojnik, Šentjur and Čepovan, firefighters, civil protection and other protection units are still at work. In Čepovan, 30 members of the Slovenian Army are also assisting in the restoration efforts, and will continue to do so as long as necessary.

Additionally, Slovenia has acquired specialized vehicles equipped to handle the aftermath of severe weather events, representing a significant investment in disaster response capabilities.

Roofers and glaziers are meanwhile facing high demand in areas most affected by the storms. Even before the heavy storms, many roofers were fully booked until the end of the year.
