Foreign Minister Anže Logar hosted his Latvian counterpart Edgars Rinkevičs in Ljubljana today. Talks focused on the Ukraine crisis. Both ministers called for a diplomatic solution to the Ukraine crisis and for EU unity on the issue. Logar underscored the importance of a unified response by the EU and NATO, pledging Slovenia's readiness to assist to the best of its abilities
The two also discussed economic cooperation, which is to be enhanced with the opening of a Slovenian embassy in Riga.
