The EU commissioner for crisis management Janez Lenarčič arrived in Beirut to personally turn over EU aid to the area. A devastating explosion rocked Beirut in August. That blast killed nearly 200 people and left roughly 300,000 people homeless.
The EU donated ambulances, firefighting equipment and other supplies.
At a conference, the EU countries pledged a total of 64 million euros to help Beirut.
