The service will initially run twice a week, with plans to increase frequency during the summer.

Luxair started flights from Ljubljana to Luxembourg last September and airBaltic launched a route between Ljubljana and Riga last week. As part of the scheme, Iberia will connect Ljubljana and Madrid in the summer.
