The Ministry for Public Administration published a call for tenders on its website this afternoon for a company to adapt a new COVID-19 tracing app.

The phone app will notify people of whether they have been in contact with anyone infected with the Coronavirus.

Its use will be voluntary except for people who are in quarantine or who have already tested positive for the virus.

The tender process will run until midday on Wednesday.

The ministry said that the entire solution had to be up and running by the 1st of August.
