The National Security Council held a meeting in Ljubljana today as the number of coronavirus infections climbs to 23. The security council adopted a number of measures to deal with the outbreak in Slovenia. Among them are temperature screenings at the Ljubljana airport and extra measures at the land border with Italy. All medical appointments and non-urgent procedures at the health centres in Metlika, Novo Mesto and Črnomelj will be cancelled. Indoor events across the country will limited to only 100 people. All big sporting events, including the Planica ski jumping meet, will have to be held without spectators. For the time being schools and kindergartens will remain open.
