The State electoral committee met this afternoon and confirmed the official parliamentary elections results. The turnout was 70, 97 percent.

The biggest winner is the Freedom Movement with 41 gained seats. Its leader Robert Golob announced earlier that the new government wants to strengthen 4 ministerial areas – climate, intergenerational issues, digitalisation and regional development. Next to the Freedom Movement, the Slovenian Democratic Party (SDS) will have 27 mandates, the party New Slovenia (NSi), the Social Democrats (SD) and the Left party 5 mandates.
