Slovenian President Borut Pahor will face a second round of presidential election as he fell short of an outright majority in the first round yesterday. He will face a runoff against Marjan Šarec, the mayor of the northern town of Kamnik. Šarec received 25 % of votes. Pahor received 47 percent of Sunday's vote. Turnout was 44 %.
