The attack caused the work in the Friday night-shift to come to a halt. It is still not known when production will start again. The assessment of damages caused by the attack will be carried out once the plant is operational again.
Renault representative NevenkaBasek Zildžović said that with Revoz being a part of Renault's system and intranet much depends on the Paris center.

Friday's global hit infected more than 200,000 computer systems in 150 countries, making it one of the broadest and most damaging cyber-attacks in history. The ransomware virus took control of users' files, demanding payment for access to be restored. Security experts have alco vioced concern, saying another attack is imminent and could potentially be unstoppable.
