Slovenian cyclists Primož Roglič and Tadej Pogačar won their respective stages at the Paris-Nice and Tirreno-Adriatico stage races today.

Both stages were arguably the toughest of each race this year.

It was Roglič's third win of this year's Paris-Nice. He now takes a 52-second lead into the final stage tomorrow ahead of Maximilian Schachmann.

Pogačar held off Britain's Simon Yates to cross the line first at Prato di Tivo.

The reigning Tour de France champion holds a 35-second lead over another form rider at the moment, Belgium's Wout van Aert.
