The European Commission issued a second warning to Slovenia today.
The warning was for violating urban waste water regulations.
The Commission told Slovenia it should ensure that urban waste water is adequately collected and treated. If Slovenia does not fix the situation in two months, it could face charges at the European Court of Justice.
Eleven Slovenian towns were said to be violating the directive, including Celje, Kamnik, Ljubljana, Maribor, Postojna, Ptuj and others.
