The country will sue the Commission by the end of August over the derogation allowing Croatia the use of the name of Teran, the red wine protected by Slovenia.

Židan made the official announcement as EU agriculture ministers met a day before the derogation act enters into force.

The deadline for the lawsuit at the European Court of Justice is 19th September.
