As of today, providers of fuel in Slovenia will be able to set prices on their own.
The decree on administered prices for regular petrol and diesel at gas stations outside highways and expressways has expired.
Prices will be published on the web site www.goriva.si.
Slovenian fuel providers, including the largest energy company Petrol, have complained about the state-imposed margins being too thin for years.
