Slovenia's outgoing foreign minister, Miro Cerar, is quitting the party he founded before the election in 2014.
According to him, the Modern Centre lost credibility in implementing its founding values.
The move comes after the party joined a coalition lead by Janez Janša, the leader of the right-wing Democrats.
Meanwhile, tomorrow MPs will vote on the appointment of Janša as prime minister-designate.
