Slovenian scientists have joined the global March for Science.

The aim of the rally was to highlight the lack of funding at universities and research institutions. Participants, around 1,000 showed up in Ljubljana, also called for the preservation of the autonomy of science.

The march started in front of Moderna galerija, the museum of modern art, and took the scientists through the streets of the capital, bringing them to the final stop in front of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
