Slovenians are still optimistic about the EU. The country's positive attitude towards the union remains above the EU average. According to a survey presented by the European Parliament, 50% of all EU citizens have a positive opinion about the bloc. In Slovenia the figure stands at 58%. Moreover, Slovenia, alongside Malta, came second only to Ireland in its optimism about the future. 78% of the Slovenian respondents said they were optimistic about EU's future.
