The General Court of the EU will rule on the use of Teran in September.
Slovenia's Teran is protected under the EU quality logo sign.
However, the Commission allowed Croatian producers in Istria to use the name on the label as long as the name of the region was featured more prominently. This caused Slovenia to launch legal action.
The ruling will now come in September.
