Members of trade unions from Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy met today to celebrate Croatia's entry to the Schengen zone on January 1st.
The trade unionists met at the Dragonja border crossing.
They stressed that this will make life easier for more than 10,000 workers commuting daily from Croatia to Slovenia or Italy for work.
They also called on the governments to better protect workers’ rights and to fight to prevent undeclared work.
