Slovenia welcomed two wounded persons from Ukraine for medical treatment. Slovenia is thus joining 18 other EU member states providing medical treatment for the wounded and ill from Ukraine.
The two wounded were flown in by the Slovenian military.
The wounded persons requested temporary protection, which makes them eligible for the formally approved range of medical services they require. They also have an interpreter at their disposal.
