The sixth block automatically shut down on Wednesday due to a failure of the turbine protection control system, according to the HSE group. It was re-started this morning before 9AM.

Teš 6, which started operating in May 2015, has been stopped several times to date.

In the first 11 months of this year, Block 6 produced 2976-gigawatt hours of electricity. That amounts to about 45% of the total electricity production of the HSE Group and about 23% of the total electricity production in Slovenia.
