The government approved a plan for a wind farm with eleven wind turbines in Dolenja Vas in the windy Kras region.
It’s about 70 km south-west of Ljubljana.
Apart from the eleven wind turbines, project also includes access roads and installing cables.
Each turbine will be 100 to 150 metres high.
There is some opposition to the wind farm in the region.
Locals have complained especially about noise after one wind turbine was built there in 2012.
