The first round of voting was on the 20th November but because none of the candidates in these municipalities took more than 50% of the votes, second rounds between the two candidates who got the most votes have to take place. Six out of twelve Slovenian urban municipalities including Maribor, Kranj and Celje are among the municipalities holding the run-offs. 928 polling stations will be open between 7AM and 7PM and the first partial results are expected to be released after 7.30PM.
