With 2021 the moving of the clocks should end. At least that was backed on Tuesday by the European parliament

The current Summer time directive dates back to 2001 and according to the Slovenian ministry of infrastructure the standard time in Slovenia is winter time and if no further amendments are done then this will the standard time after 2021.

According to some polls Slovenians are more in favour of summer time.

The first time clocks were moved was after World war II in Austria and Germany, the reason being to help save energy consumption and better use of daylight.
