Slovenian cycling star Primož Roglič has won his 3rd Vuelta a Espana in a row.

He finished off this year's Vuelta a Espana, or Tour of Spain, by taking the final stage with a dominant display in the 33.8 km time trial to Santiago de Compostela.

It was his 4th stage win of the race, one of cycling's 'big three' Grand Tours.

Another Slovenian cyclist, Matej Mohorič, finished off the week-long Benelux Tour with victory on the final stage from Namur to Geraardsbergen.

He also finished 2nd overall to team-mate Sonny Colbrelli of Italy.

Also on two wheels, but of a motorised kind, reigning Motocross World Champion Tim Gajser came 3rd overall at the Turkish Grand Prix. Dutchman Jeff Herlings was today's winner.

Gajser leads the overall standings, just before the half-way point in the season.
