Tonight at midnight is the deadline for Slovenes holidaying in Croatia to return to Slovenia.

As of tomorrow, anyone returning from there will have to go into a 14-day quarantine.

So far, Slovenians have been returning gradually. Yesterday, people were waiting about an hour and a half to enter Slovenia at the border crossing Gruškovje-Macelj, which is roughly normal for summer months.

There are about 70,000 Slovenian tourists in Croatia.
