Eight new coronavirus infections were confirmed in Slovenia yesterday.
It is an increase compared to recent weeks. The total number of recorded cases has thus risen to 1,511. The death toll remained unchanged at 109.
Meanwhile, Interior minister Aleš Hojs said the state should rethink and postpone the opening of its borders on 30 Jun with non-EU countries, as initially planned.
It comes after an increase in new infections originating abroad.
