The Nordic World Ski Championship in Planica officially drew to a close last night.
Norway finished as the most successful country, winning 27 medals – 12 of them gold.
Norway was followed by Sweden and Germany, while Slovenia finished as the 4th most successful country. Slovenia won two gold medals and one bronze, all of them in ski jumping.
Asked whether Slovenia would like to host another future championship, the head of Slovenia's Ski Association, Enzo Smrekar, said everyone was happy with the organization.
The next Nordic World Ski Championship will be held in two years in Trondheim, Norway.
