The number of tourists in Slovenia rose by 6% in the first half of 2023. Almost 2.5 million tourists were recorded in Slovenia in the first half of the year. Overnight stays also rose by almost 4% compared to the same period last year. Foreign tourists accounted for two thirds of all the arrivals. Most of them came from Germany, followed by Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands.
