The two lifetime achievement Prešeren Prizes will go to poet Boris A. Novak and ballet dancer and choreographer Janez Mejač.
The prizes have been conferred annually since 1947
They come with a prize of EUR 21,000 for the Prešeren Prize.
The ceremony at Cankarjev Dom will be attended by the country's top officials.
