More people with a PhD moved to Slovenia than out of Slovenia last year, according to the Statistics Office said.
More than 23,000 people moved to Slovenia last year. The majority had secondary education or higher.
Roughly 140 people with a PhD moved to Slovenia, whereas 132 people with a PhD left the country.
The reason most foreign citizens said they moved to Slovenia was because of work. About a third moved to join family members.
