As of Thursday, Slovenian citizens and citizens of other EU countries are no longer required to go into quarantine upon entering Slovenia. Croatia also relaxed entry into the country for EU citizens.

Interior Minister Aleš Hojs and his Croatian counterpart Davor Božinović met in Ormož today and confirmed that Slovenian tourists do not need to own property in Croatia to enter the country if they’ve booked a holiday there. However, those crossing the border will have to provide border police with information, such as where they will be staying.

Croatia is reportedly developing an app that would enable tourists to register before arriving at a border crossing. The two ministers agreed the Slovenian and Croatian police would discuss the app in more detail on Wednesday.
