The Slovenian women’s tennis team made history today making it to the semi-finals of the Billie Jean King Cup tournament. It played well against Kazakhstan today, with Kaja Juvan winning her match and Tamara Zidanšek winning a set, which was enough for Slovenia to advance among the top 4 teams in the world. Later in the doubles match, Veronika Erjavec and Ela Nala Milić narrowly lost to the Kazakh pair with 2:1.
In Saturday’s semi-final Slovenia’s team will now face Italy. The match starts at 10am.
