The start of the new football season has been postponed as more players test positive for Covid-19. The new season was supposed to start tomorrow. This comes after several players from NK Olimpija Ljubljana tested positive. Previously, positive cases were also reported in football clubs Domžale and Aluminij Kidričevo.
The president of the football association, Radenko Mijatović, called on those who wanted to continue playing professional football to be more responsible.
The new football season is now scheduled to start on the 22nd of August.
