Croatian services company Mplus has acquired a 51% stake in Slovenia's leading agri-food company, Panvita. The EUR 50 million capital increase positions the new group as a leader in the food industry in Southeast Europe.
The investment aims to facilitate growth and expansion through further acquisitions, while Panvita's headquarters and management will remain in northeastern Slovenia. Panvita CEO Peter Polanič emphasized that Slovenia will remain the center of development and operations, with regional partnerships crucial for implementing the strategy effectively.
