The Ljubljana International Film Festival LIFFE opens today. It opens at the Cankarjev Dom tonight with a screening of Serbian film Guardians of the Formula, based on a true story about the little-known Yugoslav "mini-Chernobyl" incident in the 1950s.
The festival will feature 89 feature films and 14 short films with special sections dedicated to Argentinian cinema and Italian political films. Screenings will take place at six venues across Ljubljana, as well as in Maribor, Novo Mesto and Celje. The festival will run until the 19th of November.
