According to air pollution measurements, there were no materials harmful to health in the air. The limit values of inhalable PM10 particles was exceeded in the morning however, but has since dropped. Water measurements found that the waste water at the site was polluted, while a water sample from the nearby river Krka showed no pollution as of yet. Results of the investigation into the pollution of crops near to the fire site will be released sometime this week.

No hazardous waste was involved in the fire, unlike in the case of the May fire at the Kemis plant near Vrhnika. According to officials plastic and wood waste as well solar panels caught fire.
