A patrol car detected a vehicle that jerked to a stop when its driver noticed the policemen and then sped into a blind alley. The police car followed it and stopped it at an abandoned parking lot. The 38 year-old Serbian driver was accompanied by his 31 year-old partner from Bulgaria and their underage daughter. The trunk of the car contained 10 1kg packets of high grade cocaine, estimated to be worth around 100 €/g.

The usual sentence for this kind of crime ranges from 1 to 10 years in prison.
