festival kicked off in the northeastern Slovenian town of Ljutomer today.

Running until Saturday, the popular horror film festival will feature 35 full-length films, 12 documentaries, and 43 short films from a total of 38 countries. 6 feature-films will be vying for the festival’s main award, the Vicious Cat. The festival will also feature workshops, concerts, a theatrical performance, book presentations and wine tastings. This year, a couple of its events will also take place in the nearby town of Ormož.
