The ski resort Kranjska Gora will host the 56th Golden Fox FIS Alpine Skiing competition this weekend, starting with a giant slalom today and a slalom competition tomorrow. Mikaela Shiffrin from the US will not be among the women skiers who will compete at the Slovenian ski resort this weekend, due to returning home from her tour early this month following the death of her father. The 56th Golden Fox FIS Alpine Skiing competition hat to be moved from Maribor to Kranjska Gora because of too high temperatures. Slovenia will be represented by several skiers including Kranjska Gora native Meta Hrovat, who by her own words couldn’t feel more at home there.
