Bojana Beović, the head of the government's coronavirus task force, has announced that the group will this week propose the extension of existing restrictions.

The chief coronavirus advisor added that until the most recent measures show effects, it is not possible to talk about potential changes. This is expected to happen at the end of this week.

Concerning talks of mass voluntary testing, she said the task force was leaning towards targeted mass testing, meaning tests for high-risk groups. Weekly testing for healthcare workers has already begun, while systematic testing in care homes is also planned.
