President Borut Pahor has called for calm and tolerance after an attack on the home of a councillor on Friday evening in Črnomelj.

A bottle filled with kerosene was thrown through the window of councillor Vesna Fabjan's house, causing a small fire.

A number of senior officials have condemned the attack.

President Pahor also stressed the importance of mutual respect on all sides.
