The statue was lifted back to the top of a church steeple by an army helicopter.

The copper statue has been showing the direction of the wind for 250 years but urgently needed repairs.

In February a piece of its wing fell off.

The restoration work cost around 25,000 euros. The army provided a helicopter lift for the statue free of charge.
