"We explained our separate views, and parted," said the Slovenian PM. He explained that both countries persist on their positions, and added that the arbitration procedure is continuing and that it is necessary to wait for the decision of the Court of Arbitration, which will be binding for both parties.

PM Cerar and Minister of Foreign Affairs Karl Erjavec presented the Slovenian position regarding the arbitration dispute with Croatia also in their talks with other participants of the conference, at which occasion prime ministers and foreign ministers of the Western Balkans countries had separate meetings.

"We stressed the fact that the agreement obviously remained valid. The Court is continuing its work, and we expect all the countries to support the decision that the agreement should remain valid until the end, until the final decision. It is a prearranged legal solution and we believe we have a lot of supporters who agree with us that in this case the Croatian decision is not correct, and is not acceptable," Cerar concluded.
