The race was supposed to start at 10 AM and was delayed by 30 minutes later, but the jury then decided to cancel it.
Reasons for the cancelation were large amounts of new fallen snow, fog and icy rain. The faith of the last giant slalom race before the Olympics in Russian Sochi remains unclear.
If the weather conditions allow it, tomorrow Kranjska gora is to host the slalom race. The first race will take place at 9:15 AM.
