The Slovenian government has finally adopted an EU program for the Youth. Under the scheme young people aged up to 29 years will be offered a job, training or education after being registered at the Employment Service for at least 4 months.
Officials say the program will include more than 126 thousand young people. The Youth Guarantee scheme includes measures worth more than EUR 150 million. Meanwhile young Slovenes are calling on the government to develop a youth employment strategy as soon as possible. A key objective of the document is quicker integration of young people into the labor market.
